A Visit with Johnny Depp in Las Vegas

While roaming around the Las Vegas strip...I see Johnny's mug looking back at me! All through the town...it seems he is the eye candy of Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. So while my husband took his chances with the blackjack tables at the Venetian....I headed up the cool moving sidewalk...to visit with Johnny! Not a bad likeness...apparently the star's have to be measured and casted to make the wax double...It was great fun! Oh... a tip to all you military folks or family of military folks...ask about the military discount! It's not on the sign but if you have your dependent card or military ID you get a great discount!

Snow in the desert!

So we take a quick trip to Las Vegas Nevada...we go to Red Rock Canyon...and it begins to snow...what didn't we leave the snow in Wisconsin! The next day we go to Grand Canyon West..to walk on the glass skywalk over the Canyon...and there is snow everywhere! Snow on a Cactus! Wow....I can't go anywhere without snow! But...I have fun pictures to share...and it was a very fun nice vacation for my husband and I before he deploys for a year!

Dale Earnhardt's Car and The Union Station

The fish was just a neat fish...with a Jacque sitting next to him...(reference "Finding Nemo"...)

The stairs back down to the funky elevator cars inside the Arch.

Dale Earnhardt's car was at our conference as the National Guard is the sponsor! This fellow next to the car built the engine for his car.

We had a fun afternoon visiting the Hard Rock Cafe and the Union Station....The sepia picture is the back of the Union Station and it was quite neat.

St Louis Arch

I recently took a business trip to St. Louis. We stayed at a hotel 2 blocks away from the ARCH....so I took lots of photos of the Arch...I think a few turned out quite neat so I thought I would share them with you all!
