Colorful and beautiful, tradional costumes, the drumming was great...the singing was fascinating. It was a wonderful day..wish I'd had time to stay longer!

Sonja bid her farewells Monday evening and boarded her plane early Tuesday morning...to begin her life as an adult in the fair state of Florida... These are some of the photos we took before she was gone...

I am sad. I miss my Sonja. Parenting stinks. They say teenagers act crappy so that when it's time for them to go it's easier to let go...I'm not finding it so...I even miss the fighting and the messy room. And to think I get the joy of going through this 2 more times!
